TRC’s clinics have physical therapists and physical therapy assistants with more than 60 years of combined experience. This enables the clinic to effectively treat outpatients from the community with various injuries.

TRC Physical Therapy also utilizes the Biodex Balance Assessment Program for Concussion and Fall Risk Screening and Conditioning. The Biodex system brings together cognitive and functional objective assessment to determine a persons risk for falling. The Biodex system also has been utilized to provide an accurate assessment tool for concussion management. Adaptive equipment is any device, tool, or machine that is used to assist with any daily task. Adaptive equipment in occupational therapy helps those with short-term or long-term disabilities where they may be having trouble performing their normal routines.

Adaptive equipment is important in occupational therapy because in order to truly improve the quality of one’s life, giving them as much independence as they’re capable is key.

Speech Therapy Services

Speech Therapy is used to treat voice disorders including pitch, stress, loudness and quality. Our speech pathologists will work with you to improve your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with those around you.

Speech Therapy can assist with:

• delays in the development of speech/language
• language changes due to stroke, brain injury and neurogenerative diseases including word finding, memory and reasoning skills
