Coordinator of Nursing Services

Under the oversight of the AED/IDD Services, ensures the provision of nursing services within the Agency; ensures the coordination of healthcare between the individual and the providers of healthcare. Provides administrative and clinical supervision to the Nurse Managers and other designated nurses within the Agency. Ensures the continuous maintenance of appropriate nursing services and adequate staffing. Ensures the ongoing education of nursing staff consistent with changes in healthcare and clinical practices. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing information in an effort to identify any potential trends and submits recommendations/plans of action in response to identified trends and issues.
