Intro to the Pottery Wheel Class

Class sizes are limited. Registration is required. Email Kristen Farmer at kristen.farmer@resourcecenter.org to sign up. If you are unable to attend a class that you have signed up for, please notify Kristen so another artist has the opportunity for class.

Supplies are provided and all artistic abilities are encouraged to join!

This fun two-hour session introduces beginners to basic wheel throwing techniques. You will have the opportunity to create a piece of functional art (cup, bowl, vase, etc.) on the pottery wheel. Your finished piece, once dry (several days), will be fired in the kiln. Choose a glaze color before leaving class and your piece will be glaze fired and ready for pickup within 3 weeks. No experience necessary. All supplies and equipment provided. DRESS TO GET A LITTLE MESSY!
