Ability Awareness Awards
Established in 1989, The Resource Center’s Ability Awareness Awards recognize those who have demonstrated exemplary effort in improving the lives of people with disabling conditions. In addition, the awards honor people with disabilities who have made tremendous strides in their own lives as they strive to meet their goals.
The Awards Celebration also highlights the special partnership that exists among people with disabilities, their families and friends; The Resource Center, Filling the Gap and other organizations in Chautauqua County that provide critical services and supports to thousands of people with disabilities and their families; and the rest of the community in Making a Difference in People’s Lives.
