    This week we shine our “Employee Spotlight” on Bet This week we shine our “Employee Spotlight” on Betsy Butlak-Teboe, the Employee of the Month in our Employment and Community-Based Services. Betsy was honored for the supports she provides to people who participate in our Community Pre-Vocational Services. She was praised for coming up with fresh ideas that help make the program more engaging and beneficial for everyone. As examples of the individualized supports Betsy provides, she’s been assisting one person with learning to read. For another person who has difficulty expressing themselves, Betsy has been supporting them to more clearly pronounce words. She is pictured holding her award alongside Tracey Luce, Employment Coordinator.     This week we shine our “Employee Spotlight” on Tin This week we shine our “Employee Spotlight” on Tina Brockway, the Employee of the Month in our Support Departments. Tina was honored for her contributions to process improvements within our Maintenance and Transportation departments, her willingness to serve on multiple workgroups and the supports she provides to co-workers. “Tina is always willing to help others within our department, from Directors to Maintenance Techs and Transportation employees,” said Jakob Meady, Facilities Maintenance Manager, who nominated Tina for the award. “Even with her extensive job duties and tasks, she always remains calm and collected, with a positive attitude.” She is pictured between Jakob and Kelly Dimitri, Chief Operating Officer.     We were saddened to learn of the passing of a form We were saddened to learn of the passing of a former employee, Beverly Arvidson. Bev joined The Resource Center in 2003 and spent more than a decade with us as a Nurse Manager in our Residential Division, overseeing the care provided to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During her time at TRC, she established close relationships with co-workers and with the people living in our homes. After a long career as a nurse, Bev retired from TRC in 2014 to focus on being a loving, doting and actively involved grandmother. We extend our condolences to Bev’s family and wish them strength as they grieve her passing.
