    In these confusing and uncertain times, the Counseling & Psychiatric Services Department at TRC Community Health Center wants to remind people that we are still open to support you.

    If you are displaying no signs or symptoms of coronavirus, you can come into our offices in Jamestown or Dunkirk.

    We also offer telephone and video psychotherapy and psychiatry sessions for those who either might be displaying symptoms, or would prefer to stay at home and not have to travel.

    All of our programs offer a comprehensive menu of services including psychiatric evaluations, medication management and clinical counseling. Generally, a mental health clinic involves treatment of a fairly short duration. Many people show significant improvement after only a few sessions.

    PROS provide a comprehensive, recovery oriented program for individuals with severe and persistent mental health conditions. PROS supports goals to improve functioning, increase employment, attain higher levels of education and secure preferred housing.     Collaborative Treatment

    We can also offer collaborative treatment with public school counselors and other clinicians. Our team has also provided an effective interface with the criminal justice system. The NY State Office of Mental Health certifies our programs.

    Certified psychiatrists, social workers and mental health clinicians are ready to assist people in regaining mental health. Most insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted. The Resource Center will not turn anyone away if they cannot afford to pay for services. We offer a sliding fee scale (based on income factors) to provide financial assistance.
