Counselling & Psychiatric Services

All of our programs offer a comprehensive menu of services including psychiatric evaluations, medication management and clinical counseling. Generally, a mental health clinic involves treatment of a fairly short duration. Many people show significant improvement after only a few sessions.

Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS)

PROS provide a comprehensive, recovery oriented program for individuals with severe and persistent mental health conditions. PROS supports goals to improve functioning, increase employment, attain higher levels of education and secure preferred housing. Collaborative Treatment

We can also offer collaborative treatment with public school counselors and other clinicians. Our team has also provided an effective interface with the criminal justice system. The NY State Office of Mental Health certifies our programs.

You will find at TRC’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services, our team of therapists and physicians get to know you so they can work with you on resolving issues in a way that fits with your needs. Our therapists can also offer services to college students in our community. While college life can be fun and exciting, the pressures to fit in and succeed can be overwhelming.

Certified psychiatrists, social workers and mental health clinicians are ready to assist people in regaining mental health. Most insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted. The Resource Center will not turn anyone away if they cannot afford to pay for services. We offer a sliding fee scale (based on income factors) to provide financial assistance.
