The Mental Health Clinician II will provide direct input in the assessment and program planning for individuals assigned to their caseload. The Clinician will provide a wide variety of direct service client contact on an ongoing basis.

Able to effectively perform work in the following trades: electricity, carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance with a high degree of proficiency.

Responsible for directing the production activities in Southern Tier Brewing packing operation, including the efficient use of both manpower and equipment. Responsible for floor layout, the cross training of personnel, quality and specification adherence, production scheduling, and job set up. Responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the residence. Provides supervision and assistance to residence staff and ensures implementation of individualized programming for each individual who resides at the residence. To assist in the provision of delegated medical/nursing services. This includes the training of staff in medical/nursing procedures, completion of required documentation and communication with physician. May perform CLS responsibilities as requested by the Residence Manager/Site Supervisor.

To provide direct care and supervision in all activities of daily living, implement individual’s Habilitation Plan, complete required documentation regarding individual milestones and behavior management programs, participate as an active member of a team with other program/department staff to provide the identified supports to participants, and enhance the skills and/or create the opportunity for consumers

Provide direct individualized support services to service recipients to enable them to lead self-directed lives in their homes and to contribute to and be included in their communities in an ethical, holistic and professional, non-judgmental manner that builds upon the recipient’s strengths, choices and capabilities.
